Paintbrush Holder Vday Present

I had an idea to make a Valentine's present for Art-A paintbrush holder!  I used old clothing(all of my material comes from old clothing) and cut out enough fabric to hold his longest paintbrushes(which are in use right now, so not shown) and sewed the pieces together with a little pocket in the front(out of the sleeves).

Here is the inside.  I love these fabrics.

I cut off the cuff from the shirt, used the buttons and made a flap to close it up.  I always get overwhelmed and think I will never be able to do it when I do a new project.  Somehow, it's never nearly as bad as I make it out to be.  It was fun(Eclipse, Ladyhawke and Inception were used in the making of this project).
